MODERN PIANOFORTE CASES. We had the pleasure of inspecting at the furniture works of S. J. Sullivan, at 6 Wilson Street, a new pianoforte case which he has designed and manufactured for a local customer. The whole of tile old case and woodwork was discarded on account of the borer, and the case work renewed right from the foundation. Being manufactured in oak, finished to owner’s taste, it presents a very handsome appearance, and does exceptional credit to the firm. The cost, considering the smartness of the model, is not excessive. * It is the intention of S. J. Sullivan to meet a demand for modem piano cases, by providing the means whereby those who have good instruments, with out-of-date and worm-eaten cases, to have them remodelled on present-day lines, in keeping with modern taste in furniture and architecture. The case will be on view at the factory for a few days, and anyone desiring to see it can do so.
