ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION.

CHINAMAN’S DEED IN PARIS. Received March 22, 8.30 p.m. PARIS, March 21. An attempt was made to assassinate the Chinese Minister, Tchengloh, who, in company with Mr. Tsaugou, a well-known Chinese engineer, was proceeding to a reception. A Chinaman fired four shots at the Minister, who was uninjured, but Mr. Tsangou was wounded.
