ROUND THE WORLD FLIGHT.

PROBABLE ROUTE. LONDON, March 11. Sir Ross Smith is making preparations for his world's flight which he hopes to commence on 24th April. Of the various routes, that via France, Italy, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persian Gulf, India, China, Japan, Kamschatka, Aleutian Islands, Alaska, Canada, Newfoundland, across the Atlantic direct, or via Azores, is probably the best. Sir Ross Smith is arranging for approximately five hundred mile stages. The flying time is estimated at 280 hours, but the total time occupied will probably be three or four months.
