STOCK SALE REPORTS. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report a small yarding on the 7th inst. at the Hunterville yards. Prices ruling were as follows:-2-th ewes to 18/-; 4-yr. do to 14/8; fat steers to £5; fat cows to £3; 31-yr. steers to £4/9/; 3-yr. heifers r.w.b. to £5/10/; 2-yr. do. to £3; Springing cows to £7; weaner pigs 5/-, 6/-, to 9/-. Abraham and Williams, report at the Mangaweka yards on the 9th inst. a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. Good sheep met with a ready sale and all lots changed owners at the following prices. A line of 450 2-th. ewes a/c A. E. Russell, Esq., made 23/6, other prices: 2-th. -wethers and ewes to 13/6; aged ewes to 7/-; 2-year steers £3/1/ to £3/6/; 18-months do. to £2; 2-yr. heifers to £2/7/; 18-mths. do. to £2; 2-yr. heifers to £2/7/; 18mths do. to £l/10/; fat cows to £2/10/; store cows to 20/-. Abraham and Williams, Ltd. report at the Taihape yards on the Bth inst. yarding 3000 sheep and a small entry of cattle. There was a good attendance of outside buyers and we quitted practically the whole of our yarding at satisfactory prices:— We quote: 2-th. ewes 16/9 to 19/6; 3 and 4yr. do. to 17/-; m/aged ewes 9/8, 10/-, to 13/-; aged ewes 7/-; 7/7 to 9/-; 2-th wethers 14/- to 15/4; m/s lambs good 10/6 to 14/-; other lambs 5/3, 7/- to 9/-; 1 shear Romney rams 2 gns. to 2 J gns.; fat cows to £2/4/. LONDON MARKET REPORT. Messrs Dalgety and Company Ltd. report having received the following cablegram from their London House under date of the Bth inst: “Tallow. 1185 casks of Tallow offered, 220 casks sold. Market easier, buyers holding off for lower prices.” Wool. Wool Sales continue firm and lately reported rates are fully maintained. About 97 per cent of offerings are being sold. Continental buyers are offering more freely. Lambs wool good demand.
