EX-SERVICE IMMIGRANTS.
SCHEME REPORTED ABANDONED. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON. March 13. Interviewed regarding the reported abandonment of the overseas settlement scheme for ex-service men and others, Mr. Massey said: I know nothing more than appeared in the papers. The Government received no special advice. 1 suppose it will effect New Zealand as well as other Dominions. When 1 left England it was understood the scheme would be continued as far as New Zealand was concerned till probably December.”
