TOTAL OF £4OOO ALLOTTED. LATE MR. T. PEACOCK’S ESTATE The late Mr. Thomas Peacock bequeathed a total of £4OOO to public institutions, principally in Auckland. The executors of the will, the Hon. J.. P. Campbell and Messrs J. A. and J. C. Peacock, announce that the will provides for the following distribution of the bequests: Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand , £7OO Home Mission of the said Church Northern section. £7OO Auckland Presbyterian Social Service Association . . . . £4OO Salvation Army Social Work in Auckland £4OO Knox Home for Incurables, Auckland £350 Young Men’s Christian Association, Auckland . . . . £350 St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, Auckland, for work connected, with the young £350 Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage, Auckland £3OO Young Women’s Christian Association, Auckland . . . . £3OO Door of Hope Home, Auckland .... £l5O Total .. .. ; ... £4OOO The executors are also authorised to convey to the Mayor and the City Council any pictures in Mr. Peacock’s collection which may be considered suitable for the Auckland Art Gallery.—“N.Z Herald.”
