WEDDING.

HANNA—CAMPION. A very quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated on Thursday evening, October 27 th, at the Kauangaroa Mission Church, the contractparties being Coralie, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Campion, Turamoe, Hastings, and Launcelot Crawford (Jack), third son of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Hanna. Bassenfell, Kaipara. The Rev. Father Ginisty, Wanganui, officiated. The church was beautifully decorated by the Maoris with mats and festoons of clematis. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly gowned in white brocaded satin, the skirt draped in soft panels of white georgette caught in at the hem, the sleeveless bodice having a long-waisted effect, and finished with a girdle of blue and silver leaves. The bridal veil of white tulle was held in place by a wreath of silver leaves and sprays of orange blossoms. A beautiful bouquet of roses completed a charming toilette. The bridesmaids were Miss Thelma Hanna, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Jean Cameron, cousin of the bride. They wore pretty frocks of turquoise blue cbarmeuse, with silver girdles, and trails of palest pink roses with tulle caps finished witn a wreath in soft pastel shades and carried posies of pale pink roses. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. James Campion received their guests at their old home, the residence of Mr. Leo Campion, Oklrae, Fordell. The drawing-room, in which thj bride and bridegroom received the congratulations of their friends, standing under a beautiful floral bell, was charmingly decorated with palest pink and blue larkspur. Mrs. J. Campion wore a beautiful dress of lavender charmeuse, with an overdress 50ft grey lace. Mrs. T. Hanna wore a handsome gown of black satin wore a lovely beaded tunic. The bride’s going away frock was a smart navy blue gaberdine and silk jersey cloth with touches of gold, the pretty petalled hat being of navy blue charmeuse. As the happy couple left by motor they were showered with rose leaves.
