BRITISH EMIGRANTS.
INTERESTING STATISTICS. , Received August 4, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, August 3. The Board of Trade returns for overseas passenger traffic in the first half of 1921, shows a decrease of 23,594 emigrants to places within the Empire and an increase of 4893 emigrants to the United States, compared with 1920. This is principally’ due to Irish emigration to America in the first quarter. The total outward balance of overseas passengers for the half-year is 61,769, compared with 69,041 for last year, and ■357,779 in the first half of 1913.
