Evans, S.M., Trevor Burwood Carrgill, accountant, wai charged on three separate informations with having received sum: amou..ang to in all on behall of the Union Bank of Australia, Nelson, anl that he did fraudulently omit to account for the same, thereby committing theft. Mr. Harley, for the accused, asked that the case be gone on with. He was informed the accused was prepared to plead guilty. A remand was granted till Monday afternoon.. Bail, which was forthcoming immediately, was granted in one surety of £6OO or three ot £2OO each.
