Mr R. H. Boyd, postmaster of Mo!* nnsville, is at present in Wanganui nenevv ing old acquaintances. Rev. Hutson, of Brooklyn (late of Fbrdell) is now in w anganui visiting his son, Dt. Hutson. His many eld friends are pleased to see him again. A London cable announces the den h of Sir Robert Nathan, the sccrel service official who unearthed the German plot in 1915 to assassinate Allied sovereigns ■tnd Premiers. The death occurred on Tuesday f> € Bulls at the ago of <B years, of .MrJ Hammond, widow of the late Mr Frederick Hammond. Mrs C. H. Flower, of Bulls is a daughter of the deceased ’•adv.
