PUBLIC SERVICE APPEAL BOARD.

The election of a Public Service represev tative on the Public Service .xppeai Board is to be held on June 27. The candidature of Mr. E. F. Hawthorne, the present chief clerk in the Justice Department, formerly in the Survey Department, has been endorsed by the New Zealand Public Service Association. The executive is taking active steps to secure full support of members of the Association.
