CHARGE AGAINST CIVIL SERVANT. At the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr. T. W. B. Bailey, S.M., Harold J. Salmon, accountant in the Aotea Land Board office, was charged with the theft of £338 18s lid., being moneys the property of the New Zealand Government. Mr. Hussey appeared for accused, who was remanded until Monday, bail being allowed in one surety of £l5O.
