BOXING.
NORTHERN ASSOCIATION’S CARNIVAL. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 27. At the Northern Association’s Boxing Carnival, the chief events were two professional bouts, one of fifteen rounds for a purse of £2OO between welter-weights L. Lasher and Greaves, both Australians. The other was a ten-round bout between lightweights F. Craig (Auckland) and E. Baxter (Australia). The first fight resulted in a draw, and the lightweight contest was won by Baxter on points.
