Messrs Cassidy, North and Co., Auctioneers, report having had a very successful clearing sale on Saturday last on account of Mr R. Cooper, No. 31 Carlton Avenue, Gonville. As usual at all their household sales, they had a re* cord attendance of buyers; competition was keen throughout, and everything sold at tip-top prices, including piano. In fact the sale realised substantially more tha-n the vendor’s estimate of value, which goes to prove that sellers have only to employ this progressive firm of auctioneers, whose special feature is their progressive style of advertising and their personal popularity.
