SPECIAL CONSTABLES ENROLLED. s LONDON, November 1. A proclamation has been issued authorising the enrolment of special constables in Belfast and County Tyrone. This is the first application or Hit Government’s new scheme, under which ten thousand will be required in Belfast, BARRY EXECUTED. LONDON, November 1. Barry, the 18-year-old medical student who was condemned for the murder of two soldiers—one aged 19 and the other aged 20—has been executed. Nine hundred people prayed outside Mountjoy Gaol. Two armoured cars -were present. The people dispersed when the bell ceased tolling. MORE POLICEMEN KILLED. LONDON, November T. A series of outrages are reported in County Kerry. Four policemen were killed and six wounded. Subsequently a lorry load of men set fire to and destroyed a hall in Tralee and some shops.
