MINISTERS’ ASSOCIATION.
The monthly meeting of the above was held on Monday, November Ist when there was a large attendance in the Y-M.C.A. rooms, Rev. S. Jenkin, president, being in the chair After devotional exercises and the confirmation of the minutes read by the secretary, a small committee was set up to enquire into and report upon the prospects of open-air services at Castlecliff during tho sum mer months. - A further discussion took place re the formation of a Patients' and Prisoners’ Aid Association. Also re the efforts to assist the starving in Europe, and steps were taken in £ach case. During the afternoon the Rev. B. Dudley, in accordance with the request of a previous meeting, Introduced various matters of practical interest to all ministers in common; such as w«<iidings, wedding breakfasts and toasts, and fees, the conduct of funerals. I pastoral visitation, clerical dress, Cue minister as a “sport,” church choirs, land “trouble in Amen corner," the 'advisability or otherwise of dismit.--ling children from morning worship jafter the children’s address.
