GARDEN FETE.

STEWART KARITANE HOME. A garden fete in add of the Stewart Karitane Home and Plunket Society will be held at the residence of Mr and Mrs John Stevenson, the corner of Bell and Ingestre Streets, on Saturday, th 13th inst., at 2 p.m. There will be unusually attractive displays of goods in the various stalls, and there will also be side shows, a bran tub, a tulip garden, etc. A tennis tournament (combined doubles) will be held n connection with the fete. Tennis players are asked to enter by telephoning Nos. 740 or 1422; entrance 2/6 per player. In the evening a concert and dancing carnival will be held on the lawn, which should have a great attraction.
