The'Waverley will resume running on Monday, when she is to take a full load of benzine to Fa tea. It is anticipated that the’Wairau and Wakatu will be ready for sea again about Wednesday next. The steamer Fort Denison, en route from London, left (’ape Town on May 31 for Australian ports. Auckland, Napier, and Wellington. The vessel is expected to -reach Auckland on .July 20 and Wellington about August 2. The N.Z. agents state that they have received intimation that the Mahaha is en route to Wellingon, not, as was expected, to Auckland. The vessel left England on -May 27. and has a large number of women immigrants on board. The Union Company's mail steamer Tahiti, which has been converted into an oil-burning ship at San Francisco, is about to leave that port for Vancouver. She is scheduled to sail from Vancouver on June 16 for Auckland and Sydney via ports, in place of the Makura. The Maunganui, whicli is being converted into an oil-burner at Port Chalmers, will be ready to take up her running in the New Zealand-San Francisco mail and passenger service early in October. Mr Norman Meikle recently joined the Breeze at Lyttelton as second engineer. The Breeze arrived at the Town Wharf yesterday afternoon from Picton.
