From noon yesterday to noon today thirty notifications of influenza (all of a mild type) were made to the Christchurch hospital authorities. There were six admissions to the hospital in the same period. At present there are twenty influenza patients in the hospital, ten being mild cases and ten pneumonic. The majority of these cases are concerned with relapses due to the sufferers leaving their beds too soon, or from some form of neglect necessitating removal to the hospital for treatment.
