MARINE ENGINEERS’ STRIKE.
GOVERNMENT ISSUES DRASTIC PROCLAMATION. Received 1.25 a.m.. Feb 11. MELBOURNE, Feb. 10. Owing to there being no compro Wise in the attitude of the marine engineers the Government has issued a drastic proclamation forbidding outside support. Shipowners intend to make a new application to the Arbitration Court to deregister the Engineers’ Institute.
