FROM CZARISM TO BOLSHEVISM
■«. RUSSIA IN MOTION PICTURES. In the short space of three years Russia has tried three forms of Government, but why she should be subjected to the turmoil inferred by so many changes is not clear to most New Zealanders. The fall of Czardom, the brief reign of Kerensky and the rise of the Bolsheviks will all be explained and vividly illustrated by the film story to be screened at Everybody’s on Monday, Tuesday, and ’Wednesday, by Mr Aubrey Williams, a New Zealander, who had Ined in Russia under Czar, Kerensky and Lenin. Mr Williams is master of his subject, and his motion pictures were produce! by order of Czar Nicholas 11. and Kerensky. They illustrate a wonderful epoch in the world’s history, and are often of rare beauty and should attract to Everybody’s all regular picture-go-ers. Circle seats (price 2s Id), including tax, can be booked at Upton’s.
