ALLEGED SHEEP STEALING.

(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, January 29. The Magistrate’s Court at Roxburgh was occupied on Wednesday and to-day with the hearing of a charge of sheep-stealing against Adam Murdoch McDonald, manager of the Ormarglade station. The charges related to the theft of 22 sheep, the property of a neighbouring station owner, and odd sheep beI longing to other neighbours. Accused was committed for trial. The case has aroused considerable interest in the district, where the accused is well known.
