Received January 2, 8,25 p.m. LONDON, January 1, , In Mr. Lloyd George's New Year message to the nation he says:—“lt depends upon ourselves whether the new year is rich with promise or laden with despair. As concentrated effort essentia! to rebuilding the world by united effort inspires a spirit of general goodwill, so will the nation add to the glory achieved by her sons in battle.”
