CORRESPONDENCE.

To the Editor. Sir.—l have to thank “.Justice” for his condescension in at last finding “time to notice boys.” With regard to his ideas of the army, is it really necessary to tell mv opponent that the modern soldier requires considerable brain as well as brawn I must also disillusionise “Justice,” in that I am not an Irishman. I would suggest that he should study national nomenclature, especially in regard to Surnames, a lit.-e more closely before jumping to conclusions in such an irresponsible way. 1 would remind him, too. that characterising an opponent’s statements as “piffle” is not argument. Unless “Justice” is prepared to advance something more sound than this to support his case there can be no advantage in pursuing this discussion any further.—l am, etc., W. DENNIS JOHNS.
