THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY.
On Sunday evening, at the Theosophical Society's rooms, Mr H. W. Young, from Auckland, lectured en "Theosophy, the key to life and death." The lecturer took as throe wardg of the key the truths of (1) the oneness of life; (2) reincarnation ; (3) Divine justice. All life in the. life of God—unity becoming diversity, the one becoming- the many. NTothinij; being await from tlie informing power of God—all matter, form ami consciousness being aspects of His being. Yet He is not only thus imminent in His works, but is also transcendent, having a iife beyond manfestation above our imagining. One universe does not limit the poing forth of ihe Divine energy, but He breathes fovth aorain -ml juxam in ever creator perf?r>_ tion Tin? As the Deity thus shows Himself in power, here r.nd wisdom so does man, a trinity in little. re-embody himself in a, series of lives in a physical body, so that His Divine powers may prow to fullness Goa has designed for al! We may, when we tab fit an.l willing, •co-opcate in the work of evolution. Perfect justice, with perfect lovtf and w'sdotn conditions all the life in Urn universe, to tbo preat conf.ummntion towards "which the whole creation moves."
