POULET STOPPED BY FOG.

Received December 2, 9.5 p.m ALLAHABAD, December 2

Ross-Smith is reported to have passed Moulmein at 8.30 to-day. Shortly after 3 in the afternoon Poulet returned to Rangoon. He had nearly reached the Siamese frontier when he encountered a heavy fog, and, fearful of losing his way, decided to turn back. He will leave on Wednesday. Poulet did not see Ross-Smith after leaving this morning. The latter was well ahead, and probably escaped the fog.
