MUTINEERS SENTENCED.

LONDON, October 18

Cody, the fireman concerned in the mutiny aboard the oil-tank steamer Marisha, was sentenced to five years' penal servitude at the Dorchester Assizes, and Connell and Lynch, also 3>emen. to 18 months.

An exciting story of mutiny at sea was disclosed when five of the crew of the oil-tanker Marisha were charged with several offences at London on September Ist. The captain said the men broached alcohol in the cargo and behaved like madman. They wanted to hoist the red flag, and rushed the captain, whose revolver had been doctored and would not fire. The men overpowered him and chased the captain's wife, who attempted to jump into the sea, but the mate prevented her. Wireless called assistance, and an armed party was sent aboard and put the mutineers in irons.
