WELLINGTON, October 18. The Returned Soldiers' Association's Conference continued till late last night. A long discussion took place on the question of the organisation of Auckland, suggestions with some slight amendment, being adopted and referred back to the organisation committee to be drafted- into proper form. The Conference also approved of the action of the Dominion President (Dr. Boxer), in connection with his telegram to the Premier deprecating the Wellington demonstration on the gratuities question. Mr J. Covvles (Masterton) stigmatised the march on Parliament as a disgrace to returned soldiers.
