The Chamber passed an Amnesty Bill. The debate revealed the fact that there were 197,000 convictions during the war periojL M. Painleve unsuccessfully pleaded that pardon be extended to offenders in the 1917 pmy mutiny. He stated that twenty-five were executed in connection with the mutiny.
