■ A despatch from Tokio states that Baron Tunakoshi, Leader of the Opposition, spea&iog in the Diet, said that if the Government was forced |o abandon the Japanese settlement tn Kaiochau at the behest of other Powers such action would constitute k violation of Japanese interest in (international affairs. The welfare W the nation demanded that Japan Should not abandon the settlement.
