HIS MAJESTY'S.

MRS. CHARLIE CHAPLIN

A first-class "Jewel" production, entitled "Borrowed Clothes,* was screened at His Majesty's Theatre last evening. The greatest point of interest was no doubt the appearance of Mrs. Charlie Chaplin (Mildred Harris) in the leading role. A charming personality, coupled with "undoubted dramatic giftts, are sure to make the beautiful star a permanent favourite with local audiences. The play is powerful in conception, and has been produced on a lavish scale. There are excellent supports viz., "The Cooperative Weekly"* and a Christie comedy, "Some Romeo." The music provided by Mr. Charles Parnell and his orchestra was excellent. This programme should attract further laige audiences.
