A NEWSPAPER PROTESTS

The "Daily Mail," commenting upon the War Oulce decision to award a war medal to Y.M.CA, war workers, stigmatises it" as unjust. The article says: "Tommy risked his life for four years in the trenches and now finds that the much-prized and dearly-bought ribbons are to t-e shared with hosts of men and women, most of whom worked for a few months far behind the lines."
