AMERICAN SHIPPING AMBITIONS.
Received Sept. 22, 10.30 p.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 22. , The National Merchant Marine
Association's executive committee suggests that the Shipping Board fchould sell.the larger steel vessels to 'Americans only, and smaller vessels to all nationalities, and that pending bale, the vessels should be chartered iSto American concerns at favourable tarates. The committee further advocates international co-operation and 'uniformity of see rates and routes.
