SUICIDE.
WELL-KNOWN AUCKLANDER'S
FATE.
(Per Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, Sept. 2. The body of H. H. Marshall,, manager of the Auckland branch of the Guardian Fire and Accident Assurance Company, was found floating in Parnell Swimming Baths about 7 this morning by two early bathers. They brought the body to the side and got it out of the water, only to find that life was extinct. There was a hole like a bullet wound in the corner of. the left eye, which suggested that the matter was more than one of accident. As the result of investigations, it was found that a note had been left by Marshall which disposed of any suspicion of foul play. Marshall was very well known in business circles in the city. He was a married man and leaves a wifeand family.
