SUPPOSED INCENDIARISM.

WELLINGTON, Sept. 2
A nine-roomed dwellinghouse on ;he main road between Waikanae nid Paraparaumu, owned by Mr W. H." Field, M.P., was destroyed by .Sunday morning?' No fire had been lighted in the house since the previous Wednesday and the outbreak is believed to have been the work of an incendiary. The occupant (Charles Foale) who was about to remove to another house, lost a quantity of furniture, which was uninsured. The house was insured in the Phoenix office for £400. but was worth fully £1000 more. The police arfe investigating.
