WANGANUI AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION.

The decision of the Wanganui Agricultural Association not to disband and to hold a spring show will cause satisfaction to all who have the interests of the district at heart. It is not to be ex. pected that a sTtow this year will be a record success, as the times and conditions are abnormal, but there is no rea-_ son why. if everybody does his or her 'best, a show credita.ble to Wanganui should net be held. The Wanganai Show has become a household word up and down the coast, and in many other parts of the Dominion, and it would -be a thousand pities if it were allotved to> dje. The difficulty in which the Association finds itself in regard to a ground Jind ether facilities is .regrettable, but difficulties exist only to be surmountetd. The question of spring show v. autumn show is one that will reach solution in due time. The main thing is to kesp ihe Association alive and healthy until its destiny- is ' determined. We hope the public will realise that the Agricultural Association, in deciding to struggle on, is doing so in. the interests of that self-same public, and will assist in every way possible. The Wanganai Show is an institution that must,, not be allowed to die, .
