Captain Turu Hiroti, M.C., of Wangaehu, who left with the Main Body Maori Contingent, is returning on the Athenic, which is due in Wellington on 2.3rd inst. Captain Hiroti has seen considerable service in Gallipoli and Trance. The local natives are preparing to entertain him at Aotea Hall, Putiki, and the local chiefs, Takarangi Mete Kingi and Mete Takarangi are moving in the matter.
