LONDON, May 8. The Westralian Government has sold the steamer Western Australia to tho Norwegians for £90,000, being double the price for which &he was purchased in 1912.
The British Society of Meat Importers, including Australasian importers, n:et with a view to urging decontrol as soon as supplies are sufficient to meet the demand. The Society aims at resuming the old connections with the Dominions, and resuming free competition with American imports.
British industries fairs are being arranged at London. Birmingham, and Glasgow in February and March, 1920. Dominion firms desiring to exhibit may ;ipply for space through the British Trade Commissioners.
