WELLINGTON, May 15
Present indications are for strong easterly winds northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and westerlies backing by south to south-easterlies elsewhere. Weather cloudy, cold and changeable, with rain following vx many parts of the country. Barometer further fall in the north, but rising shortly in the south.
