A MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR,

DUNEDIN, May 13

At the inquest on the body of Mervyn Greene, found at Lawyer's Head this morning, the evidence showed that on the night he dis>"appeared he had five or six drinks of whisky, then proceeded to a chemists for a "pick me up." He subsequently visited the Tivoli tea rooms, but, not feeling well, went to a public convenience, where he was last seen. Deceased had pneumonic influenza in Featherston Camp last November, and he thought it affected his heart. A verdict of found drowned was returned.
