KILLED BY A TRAIN.

AUCKLAND, May 13

An unknown man was killed on the railway near Auckland to-night. The drivers of two trains on reaching the station reported that they had struck something on the line, and on search being made a mangled body was found lying beside the rails. So far the victim has not been identified. The name of Nelson was written in a straw hat found near the scene of the accident.
