AGITATORS AT WORK.

LONDON, May 9

Agitators are endeavouring to incite troops who enlisted under Lord Derby's recruiting scheme to refuse duty-after the 11th on the ground that they are entitled to their discharge six months after the cessation of hostilities under the terms of enlistment, though this interpretation is officially disputed. Leaflets have been widely distributed at depots, also naval stations. Police raids on a number of private houses resulted in the seizure of literature. They also raided the offices of the Sailors', Soldiers' and Airmen's Union.
