One of the prettiest and most interesting of weddings took piac-p in Lhnst Church ytstertiav, when Miss Ruth Karle Fair burn, only daughter ot Air.. I and Mrs. J. i'aiiburu, and graucliKyugnLer of Mrs. and the late Dr. K. C Jiai le, of Wauganui, was married to Lieut.I Colonel Donald Do bson,. M.C, son of the iate Mr. and Mrs.-Robert Doo&on. - of Napier. Goolnel Dobson went away with the Main Body, and returned j wounded about a. year ago. The ceremony, which was performed by theVen. The church was exquisitely decorated by the bride's girl friends with Michaelmas daisies and pale pink hydrangias and cosmos J\vo arches were placed ut the opening ol: the chancel, and were most effective. Mrs. Ware (aunt of the '« bride) came in a black, costume with ;i -:^M long bUck taffetas coat, and she wore .<■ a white ostrich ruffle and a smart tur- "/■ bnn-shappd hat with myrtle green wings jl and bands of veLvet. Mrs. Gil Carey j^J (aunt of tho bride) wore a navy taffecag'3™ coat and skirt, and a, black velour hat. Mrs. H.
