(Prom Our Travelling Reporter). At the local bowling green on Saturday the following games were played : D. Robertson, W. Robertson, Napier, D. Taylor 20, Robertson, lon, Alt' Howie, J. Howie 19; Banks, Wilson, J Taylor, Mathieson 20, Carter, Hawes, Oliver, Cormack, 13; Hunter, Handley, A. Howie, J. Palmer 20, Adlam, Peliere, Saundovs, Merriman 21, At a meeting of the Waverley School Committee, the tender of the A. and 1* Association at £2 10s 6d per acre per .annum for lease of school sections was accepted. The headmaster's report was as follows:—"The roll aittendance is 163. The school was closed on sth of March for school picnic; on the 4th of March for the Educational Conference, and on 17th March for the Waverley A. and P. Show. Repairs, etc. —A new school bell is needed; repairs to tank at back of the school; a supply of disinfectant for drains and outbuildings; a 3upply of coal and coke is required; 'the roof of No. 3 room requires repairing; the front fence at the end is needing attention ; material for eight new . roller towels for pupils use is also required." —Left in the hands of the grounds committee with power to aot.
