Alfred Frith is seen in a. clever burlesque us Dr Sawyer Cumniin(i, and an equally amusing characterisation is said to be (riven by Miss Mamie Beatty si- Winter, who weeps (;not widely, but too well." There are many tuneful numbers in this pia.v nnd t.he "situations are ludicrous, hilarity predominating. Miss Maude Beatty, Mr Wm. Greene, and Messrs Alfivd Frith and l-'iekl Fisher provide most of the humour. The frocking is good, and the dances, ballets and ensembles are said to be well up to the J. C. Williamson standard.
