UNREST IN EGYPT.

SITUATION IMPROVING

LONDON, Mar. 27

Throughout Lower Egypt, north of Cairo to tlte sea, there have been frequent serious disturbances, of which the suppression is difficult, owing to the severance of aP. railway and "telegraphic communication, but there has been no organised attack upon the British army, and there is no disaffection in the Egyptian army. The situation is complicated by Bedouin incursions from the western deserts. The situation is now more in hand. Cairo and Alexandria are quiet, and there is no disturbance at the Suez Canal.
