Tho first swimming match of &» season took pace at the Municipal Baths last evening. Five competitors faced tho smarter, the winner bein^j Vernon Reid, with Peter Dixon in close, attendance, and Alf. Muller third. The latter was scratch, and conceded r?ie first ana second raen two seconds. The other two starters were: Johnson, 4sec, and Hooper, 2stc. The time was'i69 2/6 sees.
