Received October 6th 3 11.45 p.m. LONDON, October 5. The Daily News' Zurich correspondent states that Berlin i.s sending alternate streams of lavish promises and violent threats to Constantinople.

Entente diplomacy is active

Ten thousand deserters in Constantinople sent an ultimatum to Taladt Pasha and Envoi" Pasha to resign. The Ministers sent troops to disperse the deserters. A pitched battle followed, and the result is unknown.

It is reported de.sertei'S in Asia Minor captured several towns.
