LONDON, Sept. 30. Mr Campbell writes: General Man ■gin in two days won the ground which the French gained last year after three months' preparation. H© commands the whole of the Ailette valley. It is impossible for the enemy to stand on the Ailette. Retreat from the Aisne is only a matter of lime.
