LONDON, August 19

Our advance in thet Merville sec. tor was continued, considerable progress being made on a front of 10,000 yards. We entered Merville from Paraidis to Les Puresbecques. In sharp fighting we took prisoners and machine-guns.

Our total prisoners in the neighbourhood of Outtersteene is now 676, including 18 officers.
